VAN GELDER Gerry August 13, 1924 - July 18, 2006 Gerry passed away peacefully at home on the morning of July 18, 2006 at the age of 81, surrounded by the loving support of her family. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Cory, of sixty-two years, whose unsurpassed devotion and care guided her through her lengthy illness; her sons and daughters, Cory Jr., Frank Richard, Yvonne and Wendy; and her sons and daughters-in-law, Jean, Marla, Randy, Michael; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Carla, Eric, Jenna, Jordan, Kaylee, Kelsey, Zachary, Tyler, Austin, Nathan, Brenna and Emmerson. Gerry was born in Rotterdam, Holland where she married her true love Cory. Together, along with their son Cory Jr., they moved to Calgary in June of 1952 where they raised their family. Gerry and Cory traveled to many destinations and made a lot of lasting friendships. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful health professionals who have shown their care and support.
