OGDEN Delbert Charles Del passed away peacefully on July 21, 2006. He is survived by his loving family: wife Joyce, daughter Nancy and her husband Mike, daughter Cindy, son Grant, and his grandchildren, Mike, Dan, Dave, Katie, Emily and Danielle. Del came to Calgary in 1968 to the University of Calgary joining the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics Department, where he taught until his retirement in 1993. Also, serving appointments in General Studies and Social Sciences as Assistant Dean and Associate Dean for Student Affairs, respectively. He was devoted to his family, friends, colleagues, and students. Heartfelt thanks to Del's palliative care nurse, Sharon Paul, as well as the admirable staff at the Agape Hospice.
