JEANVEAU, Edgar - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Emile and of the late Pamelia (née Ducharme) Jeanveau. Husband of the late Laurette (née Giroux) Jeanveau, predeceased in 2001. Loving father of Claude Jeanveau (Annie) of Sault Ste Marie, Michel Jeanveau and Gilles Jeanveau both of Toronto. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Émile, Adelard, Ovila (Dorothy of Sudbury), Joseph, Eglantine Gaudette, Lina Blais, Henry (Denise), Hormidas and Aldege. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughters Michelle and Danielle. Mr. Jeanveau retired from Inco, having worked in the Copper Cliff smelter. Edgar was also a member of the United Steelworkers of America. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, July 27th, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean- de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
