SOYATT, Mary (Labituik) - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, surrounded by her family. Mary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2006 at the Plummer Hospital in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William Hywarren and Emile Soyatt. Dear mother of Elmer Hywarren (Mary Ann), Winnipeg, Ernie Hywarren (Helen), Courtice, Theresa Gray (Richard), Lively, Tom Hywarren and friend Virginia Fuller, Elliot Lake, Dennis Hywarren (Lynn), Brooklyn, Cynthia Krusell (Sig), Vernon, Robert Hywarren and friend Louise Lapointe, Blezard Valley and Beverly Jurich (Brian), Sault Ste. Marie. Loving baba of 14 precious grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Annie Fedorak, Saskatchewan, Margaret Chorney, British Columbia, Katherine Bodnaryk and Doris Babiuk, Saskatchewan and Elizabeth Popow, British Columbia. Predeceased by brother Nick Carek and sisters Lena and Rose Carek. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Kaleland, Saskatchewan, Mary moved to Sudbury, raised her family and later moved to Sault Ste. Marie where she worked at Mark's and Spenser's until her retirement. Her retirement years were devoted to the Croatian Hall. Mary was well known for her knitting. Our mother, baba, sister and friend will be truly missed. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Grosso for his years of compassionate care and the nursing staff at the General Hospital and Palliative Care at the Plummer Hospital. Beloved friend of Goldie Marinovich. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 293 St. George's Avenue East. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. Reverend Father Jerry Lazoryk officiating.
