GALLINGER, John “Jack“ - In loving memory of John “Jack“ Gallinger, 74 years, who passed away Friday evening July 28th, 2006 at the Extendicare York in Sudbury. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Lusty) Gallinger of Sudbury. Loving father of Gail Daoust (husband Bennie) of McKerrow, John Gallinger (wife Anne) of Espanola, Cindy Elliot (husband Brian predecesed, partner Mike Yates) of Wasaga Beach, Gerald Gallinger (wife Janice) of Webbwood, Wayne Gallinger of Espanola and Mary Lacelle (husband Paul) of Espanola. Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear son of Gerald and Ida (Sayyeau) Gallinger both predeceased. Dear brother of Kenny Gallinger of Oshawa, David Gallinger (wife Jackie) of Espanola, Dawn McLennan (husband Roy) of Espanola. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. John was born in Cornwall, Ontario and met Betty and married in 1953 in Toronto. They moved to Espanola where Jack worked as a first class machinist for Domtar. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. In the early years he and Betty loved travelling and camping with the family throughout Canada. Three years ago they moved to Extendicare York where John took up Bingo. He was affectionately nicknamed 'Trouble“ by the staff he loved to tease. John and Betty would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this coming August. Memorial Service in The Espanola United Church, 1375 Sheppard St., Espanola Thursday, August 3rd, 2006 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Extendicare York Residence Council would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
