MORISSETTE, Marcien “Paul“ - In loving memory of Marcien Paul Morissette, 81 years, who passed away Friday morning, July 28th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Son of the late Albert and the late Ernestine Morissette. Paul was born in Dunrea, Manitoba where at the young age of 18 years followed in his three brothers footsteps and enlisted in the army and went overseas for a total of 20 months, at which he received shrapnel wounds and in the last two years received medals for his service to his country in WWII. Paul eventually moved to the Sudbury area with two of his brothers where he met and married Yvette (Judy) Durand (predeceased 1978). He worked for INCO for many years as a mechanic retiring in 1984. Paul enjoyed working on vehicles. His home in Levack was often referred to as “Swamp Side Service Station“ due to the location. After Judy's death in 1978 Paul met and married Germaine Richer in 1979 enlarging his family from five children to fifteen. Paul and Germaine enjoyed many years camping and fishing in Gogama. Beloved husband of Yvette (Judy Durand predeceased 1978) and Germaine of Hanmer. Cherished Father of Paula (Glen Purvis), Felix (Sally), Brian (Gloria), Gary (predeceased 1989) and Denis (Donna). Cherished PePe to Brent (Leanne), Brad (Alicia), Felix Jr., (April), Travis, Jessica, Benjamin, Tyler, Andrew, Alyssa, Danielle, Ashley, Nicholas. Great Grandpa to Courtney and special father-in-law to Dianne Luttrell. Loved step father to Charlie (Irene), George (Paulette), Paul (Linda), Hubert (Mirielle), Andre (Josee), Paulette (Rolly Chenier), Laurent (Cindy), Pierre (Rhea), Roger (predeceased) Patsy, Gerard (predeceased) Marielle. Many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved brother of Arthur (predeceased) (Bonnie), Claudine (Frank predeceased), Lucien (predeceased) (Barbara), Benny (Doris), Jacqueline (Felix predeceased), Emile (Fernande), Charlie (Doris), Henry, Yollande (Tom). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Resting at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer. Visitation Monday, July 31st, 2006 from 3-5 and after 7 p.m. with memorial service at 8 p.m. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium with a private family burial at a later date.
