DOBSON Margaret Tait 1910 - 2006 Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 29, 2006 at Crofton Manor, Vancouver. She was the wife of the late Richard McLean (Mac) Dobson and loving mother of Rick (Darlene) and Shelagh Davies (Colin). She will also be greatly missed by her four grandchildren, Shauna and Dan Dobson, and Lauren and Gail Davies. Margaret was born in Melrose, Scotland and moved to Calgary where she spent most of her life. She pursued a career in teaching starting at the early age of eighteen in a one-room schoolhouse. During her child-rearing years she taught piano in her home. For many years she worked at Western Canada High School where she taught French and was a guidance counsellor. Margaret loved life and had many varied interests, including music, art, literature and travel. Her humour and wisdom is an inspiration to all who knew her. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Kiwanis Music Festival (No. 450, 301 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary AB T2N 2A1) where she volunteered for many years.
