LAVOIE, Irène (née Guy) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Saturday, July 29th, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Daughter of the late Adelard and of the late Joséphine (née Villemaire) Guy. Wife of the late Henri Lavoie. Loving mother of Richard Lavoie (Marie), Nicole St Amour (fiancé Don Baxter) and Guy Lavoie all of Sudbury, Clément Lavoie (fiancée Gloria Sutton) of Lavigne and Marcel Lavoie of St-Charles. Predeceased by her son Edmond-Gabriel. Dear sister of Jean-Paul Guy (Lucille) and Aline Comtois (Hector) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother Léon Guy (Laurette of Sudbury) and by her sisters Laurina Beaulieu (late Donat) and Éléonard Prévost (late Henri). Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and her 6 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Eric. Lovingly remembered by many brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 31st, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in the Co- Operative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
