Beloved husband of Janet (Phillips) Gottschalk of Sudbury. Loving father of Allen (partner Eric Black) of Toronto and Debra-Lynn (husband Ross Malley) of Sudbury. Cherished Poppa of Melissa, Shane and Paige. Dear son of Fritz and Hellin Gottschalk both predeceased. Dear brother of Rosalie (husband John Cameron) of Edmonton and Elsie Hutman of Calgary. Dear brother-in-law of Nelson Phillips predeceased (wife Carol of Sudbury) and Robert Phillips of North Bay. Special uncle of George, Barbara, Tim, Tamara, Terry and Scott. Born in Findland, he was married to Janet for 46 wonderful years. Henry owned and operated Per-Got Automotive, retiring in 1984. He volunteered with the M.S. Society. Henry enjoyed gambling, playing cards, fishing, hunting and spending time at the camp on Burnt Lake. He loved helping people and was always ready with advise and assistance. The joy of his life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Saturday, August 5th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
