HALL, Ida Cecile (nee Guy) - In loving memory of Ida Cecile (nee Guy) Hall, 95 years, who passed away Saturday afternoon, August 5th, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late John Hall (1994) of Sudbury. Loving mother of Evelyn Fortin predeceased (husband Val) and Jack (wife Carmaine) both of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Marc, André, Pierre and Lyse Fortin and Derek and Jason Hall and great grandmother of Luc, Joel and Adam Fortin and Sydney and Owen Hall. Dear daughter of the late Marie-Jeanne (Belcourt) and of the late Pierre Guy. Predeceased by her sisters Antoinette Lalonde and Rita Guy and her brothers Ernest, Albert, Sévère, Willie, Arthur, Eucher, Stéphane and Armand Guy. Ida Hall was born in Sudbury, raised in Blezard Valley, married and lived her life on Whittaker Street in Sudbury until 3 years ago. Ida was the happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her “Johnny“. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, Bingo, trips to the casinos with her children, and golfing at the French River Golf Course. She led a full and wonderful life and will be sadly missed. The family expresses its appreciation to the staff at St. Joseph's Villa and to the staff on the 5th floor at St. Joseph's Health Centre for their dedication, care and compassion.
