PHILLIPS, MARGARET LEONA The passing of Margaret Leona Phillips, wife of the late Ivan M. Phillips, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on August 30, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 7, 1927 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen (White) MacFarlane. Margaret worked as a paint contractor in the family business. Her life was devoted to the care of animals, especially her dog, Ginger. Margaret is survived by her sister, June Seymour of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the York Manor Nursing Home, Red Cross Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated by the family.
