
Florence A. Callendar 1915 - 2006 Florence Alberta Callendar, widow of the late Douglas Callendar, of the Spencer Memorial Nursing Home, Moncton, and formerly of Kouchibouguac, passed away at her residence, on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at the age of 91. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Skipton and Matilda (Rosborough) Rosborough. She was a homemaker and a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Kouchibouguac; a former member of the Ladies Aid, the Atlantic Missionary Society; as well as the Kouchibouguac Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by one son, Gordon Callendar (Betty Ann), of Riverview; three grandchildren, Leanne, Alison and Jason; and three great grandchildren, Hailee, Abby and Liam. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas in 1996; one son, Robert Callendar; one sister, Edith Dykeman; four brothers, Gordon, Arthur, Frank and Elmer Rosborough. Visiting will be from Knox Presbyterian Church, Kouchibouguac, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Knox Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Gillis Smith. Interment will be in St. James United Church Cemetery, Kouchibouguac. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Spencer Memorial Nursing Home "Generator Fund", or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
