
Lois Amelia (Smith) Woodard 1935 - 2006 Lois Amelia Woodard, 71, of Villa Du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Stoney Creek passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2006 at her residence. Lois was born in Anagance, NB on July 5, 1935 the daughter of the late Kilgore and Mary (Middleton) Smith. Lois was a devoted housewife and mother. She cherished the times spent raising her family and was very proud of all her children and grandchildren, her family meant everything to her. Lois also had a great sense of humor, telling stories or pulling pranks was a common occurrence in her household. She was a very special lady who will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Shirley Priest (David) of Albert Mines, Donna Trites (Dave) of Saint John, Mary Reynolds of Hillsborough, and Linda Hebert (Darrel) of Toronto; son, Barton Woodard (Ulla) of Ontario; 12 precious grandchildren and her treasured seven great grandchildren; her sister, Marjorie Powell of Petitcodiac; brother, Art Smith (Mabel) of Anagance. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Woodard; sisters, Edith Fawcett and Gladys Trites; brothers, Rayworth Smith and Gerald Smith. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on September 7, 2006 at 1pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart officiating. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the funeral home from 12pm until the time of service at 1pm. Interment will be at the Stoney Creek Cemetery, Stoney Creek, where Lois will be laid to rest beside her husband. Donations to the Parkinson Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
