PYE, VIOLET - E. Violet Pye, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Sunday, September 3, 2006. Born in Rumford, Maine, she was the daughter of Jerry and Mary Perry. Violet was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker, she will be missed. She is survived by sons, Gerry (Barbara) of Saint John, Grant (Rene) of Queenstown, Teddy of Saint John, Danny (Roxanne) of Grandbay, Ronnie (Wendy) of Grandbay and Timothy (Michelle) of Saint John; daughters, Diane of Saint John, Patsy of Saint John, Joanne of Grandbay, Linda (Gary) of Saint John and Fay (Steve) of Grandbay; sister, Lucy Rushton of Saint John; brother, Paul Perry of Saint John; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Bernard; son, Paul; and brother, Joseph Perry. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Castle Funeral Home "Fallsview" Chapel, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine's-Westfield Church on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Violet's final resting place will be beside her husband in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
