Margaret Downey 1926-2006 Margaret Downey of the Jordon Life Centre, River Glade, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 16th, 2006. Born in Detroit, Michigan, December 21st, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mae (Melanson) Downey and was raised in Cap Pele by her Aunt and Uncle, Celia and Alphee Brine. She is survived by her sister Theresa LeBlanc (late Aurele) of Cap Pele; nieces, Carmen and Aline; nephews, Armand, Gerald (Juliette) and Emery. She was predeceased by her infant brother Joseph. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service to be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 22nd, 2006, in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment in Ste. Therese D'e Avila Cemetery in Cap Pele. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.
