
MORRIS, RITA A. - The death of Mrs. Rita A. Morris, widow of B. Frank Morris, occurred at St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Mrs. Morris was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late George and Mary Sabina (Haley) Housen. She had been employed as a Nurse's Aid at St. Joseph's Hospital and with M.R.A.'s Tea Room. She was a former member of St. Pius X Catholic Women's League. She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor Moore (John), and Frances Clements, both of Saint John, and Patricia Caissie of Cold Lake, Alb.; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Dine of Kingston, Ont.; eight grandchildren, Beth Frawley, Stephen Moore, Colleen Comeau, Susan Moore, Andrew Moore, Nicole Clements, Catherine Clements, and Christine Caissie; six great grandchildren, Erin Frawley, Matthew Frawley, Emily Moore, David Comeau, Xavier Fisk, and Liam Chabot; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Vincent; and two sisters, Patricia Fleming and Ruth Kennedy. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday, September 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
