RICHARDSON, FLORENCE - The death of (Flossie) Florence Richardson of Minto, NB occurred Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Iron Bound Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zeblan and Minnie (Corey) McAllister. Survived by sons, Marven (Marilyn) and Gerry (Beverly) Richardson both of Minto, NB; daughters, Blanche Carr (Malcolm) of Fredericton, NB, Bernice Gormley (Winston) of Hartland, NB, Alvena Bailey (Carl) of Newcastle Centre, NB, and Susan Thibodeau (Raymond) of Minto, NB; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Laura Bostick of Minto, NB; sisters in law, Annie McAllister, Clair McAllister and Vivian Richardson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Flossie was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Richardson in 1986; a son, Murray; daughter, Geraldine; great granddaughter, Olivia; brothers, Jack, Walter, Harry and Arnold; half-brother, Burpee McAllister; sisters, Ruby Betts, Alice Keirstead, Velma MacDonald, Lena Brown and Lois Green; half-sisters, Stella Egers, Hazel Thompson, Eva Blandon, Georgie Watson, Mary Prince and Mable Corey. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490, with visiting on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 from the United Baptist Church of Minto with Pastor K. Binderup officiating assisted by Rev. Nancy Ritchie. Interment will take place in the United Baptist Cemetery.
