Arthur T. Gauvin 1920-2006 ADAMSVILLE, NB - Arthur T. Gauvin, 86, of St. Sosime Road, Adamsville, passed away on Monday, September 25th, 2006 at the Foyer Maillet, St. Marie De Kent. Born in St. Sosime Road, Adamsville, on March 27th, 1920, he was the son of the late Tilmon and Albina (Arsenault) Gauvin. A proud Veteran of the Second World War, Arthur served with the Royal Canadian Army in France, Belgium, Holland, Germany. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Harcourt Branch # 75, and he retired in 1981 following 21 years of service with the Department of Transportation. Arthur is survived by one brother Edmond Gauvin of New Scotland Road, sisters; Nathalie Gautreau of St. Sosime, Emelda Bastarache of Coal Branch, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brothers; Clifford and Alfred. Visitation will be held at St.Timothy's Roman Catholic Church in Adamsville on Wednesday, September 27th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday the 28th at 11:00 am in St. Timothy's Church, Adamsville. A reception will follow the service in the Adamsville Hall. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated.
