
BARTLETT, Zeta Audrey (nee Thompson) - On Sept. 1, 2006, after a brief illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 90th year. Survived by her children, Charles, Nancy and Ruth and her sisters Ethel Main of Port Colborne, Laura Bellows Sinclair of St. Catharines, Jen Gabor, Helen Vittie, Joyce Breitenbeck and Shirely Speck of Welland, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Nancy (1923), father Walter Thompson (1977) and her much loved step mother Stella (1982). Zeta was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, sang in the choir for some years and was an active member of Mysossia Womens Missionary Society, was a former member of Past Noble Grand of Empress Rebekah Lodge #87, sang in Empire Minstrel Shows in early 1950's, was involved in the Quilters Guild at the Church of the Good Shepherd and was an honorary life member of the St. Catharines Stamp Club. Mrs. Bartlett is at the Downtown Chapel of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Duke Street at James (behind the courthouse). The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
