CIANCIO, Angelina “Angie“ (nee Romano) - Passed away peacefully at Oakwood Park Lodge, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, September 6th, 2006 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Constantine “Connie“ Ciancio (2000). Loving mother of Don & his wife Carmel of Thorold and Carolyn Acker & her partner David Kinnear of Toronto. Survived by her sister Amelia Malcolm of Hemet, California. Predeceased by three brothers Frank, Dominic, Larry and three sisters Rosie Augustine, Nellie Moir and Mary McCann. Loved aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews. Angie was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was very independent, living in her own home until the last eight weeks of her life. The family thanks the Oakwood Park Lodge for their excellent care. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (21 Queen St. S., Thorold) on Saturday, September 9th at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum, Thorold.
