HEATHERTON, Mildred Elizabeth - October 9, 1926 - September 5, 2006. Passed away at Linhaven Nursing Home at age 79. Predeceased by father William (1950) and mother Clara (1991) and brother Kenneth (1996). Survived by brother Donald of St. Catharines as well as 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Mildred was a graduate of Trinity College (Toronto). Worked at Coy Brothers Hardware for 25 years. She was a member of the YWCA of Richmond Hill. She worked with the Childrens Aid Society of Sudbury for 25 years and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Society, Elizabeth Fry Society, St. Catharines Nature Club and was a long time member of St. George's Anglican Church. Miss Heatherton is at the Vineland Chapel of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland, where family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or St. George's Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
