FRASER, Mary Gertrude "Glenna" Mary Gertrude "Glenna" Fraser, 67 of Greenwood, NS passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Sunday, December 31, 2006 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, Nova Scotia. Born in Renfrew, Ontario she was a daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Connaughan) Rodden. Glenna will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature. She was always positive and uncomplaining, facing life's challenges with determination and courage. Glenna worked at various jobs in her lifetime, two of her more favorite being, working with the children at the Greenwood Nursery School and with the elderly at St. Patrick's Seniors Home in Ottawa. She also loved to do voluntary work at the Greenwood Hospital Auxiliary "Op Shop" until she was forced to quit for health reasons. Glenna was also a crafts person and normally had several projects on the go. Surviving are her husband Campbell and their children; Christine (Marc) Belliveau, Waverly NS; David (Kris Bartoch), London, ON; Cheryl (Tom) Purcell, Barrie ON and Brenda Fraser, Penetanguishene ON. Sister Darlene (Martin) Scrivens, Ottawa and brothers Wayne Rodden, Edmonton AB and Gary (Cheri) Rodden, Mississauga, ON. Grandchildren Luc, Chantal, Sophie Max Belliveau , Jamey, Katrina, Myles Fraser, Sarah, Amy, Alec Purcell, Rebecca and Jessie Morgan. She was predeceased by a son in infancy as well as brothers Patrick, Donald and Joseph. A celebration of Glenna's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Middleton Funeral Home (902) 825-3448, Father Jim McKay officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Fraser Cemetery, Springtown, ON. Donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
