Niven; Beloved mother of Wayne (Fran), of Niagara Falls, Gary (Joanne), of Niagara Falls, Lee (Kathy), of Shallow Lake, Bruce (Cheri), of Burlington, Ken (Marjorie), of Niagara Falls, Cheryl Dutton (Mike), of Bowmanville, Lynne Welch (Stephen), of Deep River, and the late Mark (1975); Close family friend of Calvin Taylor, of Ancaster; Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Melissa, Kerrie, Stephanie, Leigh Ann, Jessica, Corey, Danny, Alicia, Kiley and Laura, and great-grandmother of Lauren, Hunter and Victoria; Sister of Jim Chamberlain, George Chamberlain, Harvey Chamberlain, Chloe Chamberlain and the late Iris Kovacs and Bertram Chamberlain. Born, raised and a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Jean had been employed with Dominion Chain as a secretary. In the community, she was a volunteer for 10 years with Meals on Wheels, served as a Girl Guide Leader, acted as secretary for the Kiwanis Music Festival for 7 years and was a longtime member of All Saints Anglican Church and the A.C.W. A service to celebrate her life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Robinson Street, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Cremation to take place.
