BOURNS, William Townsend Passed away peacefully, on December 25, 2006, at the Centennial Retirement Residence, Oshawa Ontario, in his 86th year. Bill was born in Balbriggan, Ireland on July 30, 1921, moving to BC, Canada, with his family in 1929. While serving as a member of the RCAF, he met and married Lorna Wood Johnson of BC in 1944. Bill became a Chemical Engineer (UBC 1949 ), and hired onto the Atomic Energy branch of the NRC (later AECL), and moved with his young family to Deep River, Ontario, in 1949.
