OBITUARY THETIS CONSTANTINIDIS Passed away on January 10, 2007. Devoted husband of Elaine, caring and loving father of Nicholas and Peter. He also leaves to mourn his sister Constantina (Nick) Aerikos, family, friends and godchildren. The family will receive condolences on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of St. Mary's Hospital (Palliative Care) especially Dr. B. Buckler for the care and compassion. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Oncology - Palliative Dept. One day God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw Thetis' loving face. He saw his path was difficult with a lot of pain and suffering, so He then decided to close his weary eyes. He whispered to him "Peace be Thine" and gave him wings to fly. It broke our hearts to lose him, but he did not go alone. For part of us went with him on the day God called him home. Don't think of him as gone away, his journey has just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth was only one. Just think of him as resting from sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched. For nothing loved is ever lost and they were loved so much. Thetis in life we loved you dearly, in death we will love you still. For in our hearts you will always hold a place, the world can never fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Every time we see your picture, you smile and seem to say, "Don't cry, I'm only sleeping, we'll meet again some day." So when tomorrow starts without you, don't think we're far apart. For every time we think of you we will always remember your promise, and you will be right there in our hearts. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 1/11/2007
