CHINERY, Anthony Joseph - 71 years of age, in Waterville, Kings Co. passed away Friday June 1, 2007, at home. Tony Chinery moved to North America from Birmingham England in 1956. He graduated in Interior Design from the New York College of Design. He moved to Canada settling in Ottawa where he raised his young family. His move to Nova Scotia in 1994 led to the opening of Marshdale Bed and Breakfast in Waterville. He suffered the loss of his first wife Lily in 1998. Tony then had the wonderful fate and fortune to meet his wife Cathy with whom he shared the rest of his life. Anyone who knew Tony knew that almost equal to his love for his family was his love of trains. Wherever he happened to be, Tony was always very active in various train modeling organizations including OVAR and BRMNA. He is survived by his wife Cathy, daughters Caroline and Lara, and their families. There was no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service for Tony was held 11 a.m. Monday June 4, in Christ Anglican Church, 238 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Charles Bull officiated. Burial was in the Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses Palliative Care Program. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C.
