MCINTYRE-KELLY, BRIDIE MARY It is with great sadness, yet with joy in their hearts that the family of Bridie Mary McIntyre-Kelly announced that the Lord has called her Home to Heaven on Monday, June 11, 2007 with her family by her side. She was born in County Wicklow, Ireland in 1933, spent her youth in Luton, England where she meet and married Robert who was stationed with the Canadian Armed Forces. She brought her Irish wit, humor, and Irish advice when they came back to Canada settling in the Fredericton area. On May 1, she celebrated her 74th birthday with the love of her life Robert, her husband of 56 years. She is also survived by her two sons, Michael and Mark, daughter-in-law, Laura, granddaughter, Alahna, brother and sister in law Thomas and Frances, the Waite family, the Dolan family including her godson Luke and Monsignor Brian Henneberry. Bridie was a loyal friend to many and always had a cup of tea at the ready for those who stopped by for a visit to talk about life and times. She also loved all creatures big and small, spent many hours feeding the birds and squirrels that considered her home their home. During her many years, she worked as a dental assistant, formed part of the Amigos with her close friends Carolyn and Isabel to run the election office of former Premier Richard Hatfield and spent the last 25 years of her career as a book buyer at the University of New Brunswick. She was strong in her Catholic faith and her kitchen was always open for the many Priests who enjoyed many a fish and chip feast. The family will be celebrating her life at St. Dunstan's Church at Noon Thursday, June 14, 2007 with the Monsignor Brian Henneberry officiating assisted by the Reverend Father White. A reception will follow at Monsignor Boyd's Family Center. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be at Bishop's Funeral Home Wednesday Evening July 13, 2007 from 7:00-9:00pm For those who wish to honor Bridie's memory a donation in her name to the SPCA would be most appreciated by the family. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com June 13, 2007
