SCHEUNEMANN, Carl Heinz - In loving memory of the late Carl Heinz von Scheunemann who passed away peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Adolph and of the late Ida (nee Koch). Husband of the late Hildegard Scheunemann (nee Menk), predeceased in 1995. Loving father of Dieter Scheunemann (Sue) of Water Township, Petra Lalonde (Tom) of Manitoulin Island, Rico Scheunemann and Diane Scheunemann of Naughton. Predeceased by his sister Elvira Roesner (late Paul). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Dawn, Axel, Ian, Kurtis, Erika and his great- grandson Seth. Carl was a man full of gentleness, wisdom, understanding, laughter and love. Everyday of his life he showed how much he cared for his family by his hard work, gentle strength and by his constant support in their lives. Carl immigrated to Canada in 1959 and worked as a sheet metal worker on many major projects within the sheet metal industry and during that time he passed on his knowledge to many people in this trade. He was a member of the Nickel Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. # 427. The family expresses its appreciation to the Community Care Access, the Bayshore Home Health, Dr. Picard and to nurse Janice. Also special thanks to Debbie Salo, Vivian Chalut and Holly Cashmore who provided outstanding care and love to our father during the course of his illness. Special thanks to daughter Diane for the exceptional love and care she provided our father so he could remain at his residence. Thank you dad, thank you Opa for all the wonderful things you were to us and how much richer you made our lives, and you will always live on in our hearts and memories. We will miss you, but we know that you are now by Mom's side. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday, April 26th, 2007 from 5- 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
