Albert “Bert” Dubien died suddenly May 12, 2007, at Temiskaming Hospital at the age of 63. Born September 5, 1943, in Timmins, Mr. Dubien made his home in North Cobalt. He was a well-known musician throughout Ontario and Quebec, and was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and bow hunting. He also had a good sense of humour and will be remembered for his many acts of kindness and willingness to help others. He is survived by is wife, Isabel Lendt; his mother, Irene Dubien of Timmins, and his sister, Yvette St-Amour of Invermere, British Columbia. He also leaves grandchildren Katelin and Braydon Urbanoski of Barrie and Brook Lendt of Haileybury. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In memory contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home.
