Jeannine Riley died May 12, 2007, at Temiskaming Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 73. Born in Cobalt July 26, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Alice Thibeault. She was a long-time resident of Cobalt and at the time of her death was living in New Liskeard. She is survived by children Bill and wife Wilma Riley of North Bay, and Debra and husband Robert Baker of New Liskeard. She is also survived by grandchildren Craig (and Tracy) Baker of Spring Lake, Michigan, Brandee (and Dan) Jacques of Hamilton, Leslie (and Jean-Marc) Vachon of North Bay, and Aaron Riley of Toronto, and great-grandchildren Cole and Rhyanna. She also leaves siblings Cécile (and Glenn) Walton of New Liskeard, Roger (and Donna) Thibeault of Sault Ste. Marie, Claudette (and Gilles) Proulx of Belleville, George (and Suzanne) Thibeault of Toronto, Romeo (and Anne) Thibeault of Sault Ste Marie, Carole (and Jack) Buffam of Haileybury, and sister-in-law Thérèse Thibeault of Sault Ste Marie. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Lloyd Riley, and brother Ernest Thibeault. A mass of Christian burial will be held May 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cobalt with Father John Lemire officiating. Interment will take place at Silverland Cemetery.
