Beauchamp-Saudino, Lucille January 18, 1947 - June 18, 2007 Lucille was one of those people, a woman who worked tirelessly her entire life to do her duty to teach and educate as a catholic elementary school teacher and in her most cherished roles, as a caring and devoted wife and mother. Born on January 18, 1947 to parents Edouard and Jeanne Beauchamp, Lucille (also known as Lucy to many) was the 5th child in a family of seven. She had two brothers Raymond (wife Jackie) and Jean (wife Diane), and 4 sisters, Edna (late husband Georges Kingsbury and current partner Ron Boucher), Cecile Jodouin, Anne (husband Alan Stevenson), and Jacqueline, predeceased (husband Richard Girard). In 1966, Lucille married Ronald Saudino and together they had three children. Angele (husband Paul Caporicci), Pierrette (husband Luc Raymond) and Daniel (wife Nyree Lavigne). Lucille’s children blessed her with six grand-children; Corey and Dana Caporicci, Joshua and Briana Raymond, Amanda Saudino and Abby Lavigne. After the separation and divorce with her first husband, Luc ille met another man, William (Bill) White. Together they shared fifteen wonderful years together. Bill’s children, Jeremy (wife Sarah) and Jason became part of the family. This also added another grandchild to Luc ille’s family, Hailey, daughter of Jeremy (Jeremy and his wife are also expecting their second child). Luc ille loved being in the peacefulness of the outdoors. After being so devoted to her students all week, Luc ille found quiet and relaxation in the wonders of nature. She was an avid hunter and fisherwoman, and she had a special love of birds. The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the following very special individuals and team of people who have helped us all in their own very special way: Drs. Critchley, M.J. Deslauriers, Raymond and Schwertfeger and all the nursing and support staff at Timmins District Hospital on the Oncology Unit, Medical floor and Continuing Care C Wing; all the nurses and volunteers at the Timmins Cancer Clinic; Drs. Rabani, Noble and Pritchard, Donna White, RN and all the nursing and support staff at the Sudbury Northeastern Regional Cancer Centre; Bayshore Home Health and Red Cross nursing and support staff; Dr. Bill Chisholm; Monique Beaulieu at Horizon-Timmins Palliative Care Inc., and caring colleague Murielle Boissoneault. Luc ille’s final wishes were to be cremated with no public ceremonies. Respecting her wishes, the family asks to honour Lucille’s life and celebrate having known her by sending her your prayers and kind thoughts in your own special ways. Remembrance donations to the Daffodil Terrace Lodge, the outpatient rooming facility of the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre (NEORCC) in Sudbury would be greatly appreciated. Luc ille chose to live for her family and her work and because of these choices she changed the lives of so many people. We will greatly miss her and at the same time, we will be grateful to have been blessed to have known such an incredible woman. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Maison funéraire LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home (705) 2684488. Online donations and condolences can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
