WITHERELL, CLARA VIOLET ELLA (MUNN) The passing of Clara Violet Ella (Munn) Witherell, of Blissfield, NB, wife of Jim D. Witherell, occurred on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born on January 1, 1932 in Holtville, NB she was a daughter of the late Harold and Hessie (Davis) Munn. Clara was a member of Doaktown United Church. She was a keen lover of curling and a member of the Doaktown Curling Club and Bridge Club. Clara enjoyed knitting, interior decorating, gardening/landscaping, spending time with her grandchildren and family. Clara had a quick wit of humor which made everyone laugh. In addition to her husband, Clara is survived by three sons, Bill (Cheryl) Witherell of Miramichi, NB, Philip (Robyn) Witherell of Fredericton, NB and Rick (Jennifer) Witherell of Miramichi, NB; two daughters, Catherine "Kak" McPhee (Brian) of Labrador City and Nancy Witherell (late Bill Hughson) of Nackawic, NB; grandchildren, Craig, David, Tyler, Shelby, Caleb and Owen Sarah Witherell, Kristin and Kerri McPhee; great grandchild, Gracie Witherell; one brother, Murdick Munn (Geraldine) of Holtville, NB; one sister, Valerie Fairley (George) of Bloomfield, NB; sister-in-law, Jeanette Munn and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Clara was predeceased by one brother, Marlyn Munn; step father, Ranny Munn and niece, Keyo McLeer. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB, on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Doaktown United Church on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 2 pm with Rev. Heather Froats officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be: Craig, David and Tyler Witherell, Wendell Munn, Alvin Hubley and Harold Fairley. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Verna Grant, Anne Storey, Lillian Weaver, Florance Brennan and Betty Donald. Interment will take place in Ford Hollow Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences may be offered through June 23, 2007
