DEWOLFE, MARY PAULINE (NÉE WELOCK) Peacefully, at the age of 93, on July 1, in Fredericton. Born in St. Stephen, she attended New Brunswick Normal School at the age of 15 and later Mount Allison. Married to the late Charles DeWolfe for 50 years, she began her teaching career at the early age of sixteen and will remembered by the many students she taught over the years in St. Stephen, Barker's Point, Lower Lincoln and Oromocto. She was a life long learner and continued to take courses at the University of New Brunswick well into her retirement. She was a member of the I.O.D.E. and the Guild of Christ Church Cathedral. She volunteered with the York-Sunbury Historical Society for a number of years and was an avid bridge player and gardener. She is survived by daughters, Polly, Mary (Keith Rae), Madeleine (Ken Macleod); and sons, Malcolm (Julia Latham), Frank, John; as well as 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation be request. A memorial Services will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel Thursday, July 5th at 2 pm with the Very. Rev. Keith Joyce officiating, followed by a reception in the adjoining room. A committal service to be held at grave side in the Rural Cemetery, St Stephen on July 6th, at 2:00 pm. Donations can be made to The Alzheimer Society, Fredericton Literacy Council or Laubach Literacy Fredericton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton. 458-9170 July 03, 2007
