TAYLOR-MUNRO, Hazel Mildred - (Company Sargeant Major (honorable discharge 1946) Canadian Women's Army Corps) (CWAC) - Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Monday December 25th, 2006. Millie (Nee Boyne) Taylor-Munro was born in Listowel, Ontario on February 3rd, 1922. Beloved wife of the late Captain Gregory Taylor-Munro (RCASC). Loving mother of Retired Major Douglas (wife Judith) of Orleans, Ont., Sheryl (partner Terry) of Salt Spring Island B.C., Barbara Jones (husband David) of Norland, Ont., Ross (wife Anna) of Toronto Ont., and predeceased by her daughter Susan. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Christopher, Kelly, Lliam, Stephanie, Leesa, Jonathon, and Douglas. Dear sister of Lloyd, Art, Marge, Late Cecil, Late Grace, Late Welly and Late Blake. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (Major Andrew McKeever Branch) 565 Elizabeth Street, East, Listowel, Ont., on Friday January 12th 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command Branches and Ladies Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation, 89 Industrial Parkway North, Aurora, Ont., L4G 4C4, at a local Legion Branch or through STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie 705-721-1211.
