CHAMBERS, Frederick John - (Ted served in the Navy during the Second World War, the Korean War and Permanent Forces until 1969. He served Peace Keeping in the Congo and Germany during the Cold War with Russia. He was a proud member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church where he did the sound and made videos for four years.) At the Coleman Care Centre on Sunday, April 1st, 2007. Fred (Ted) Chambers of Barrie, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mildred Chambers (nee Quast Watson) and the late Helen Pye Finch. Dear father of Linda Taylor (late Bob) of Toronto, Kevin Chambers (Debbie) of Meaford, Robin Chambers (Ina) of Oro- Medonte, Carol Selwood (Doug) of Powasson, Peter Watson (Candy) of Pickering, Paul Watson (Judy) of Barrie, and the late John Watson. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Brother of Bill Chambers of Ottawa and predeceased by brothers Earl, Norman and Leonard. Friends may call at Westminister Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 from 10:00a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Interment Newmarket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or the Westminister Presbyterian Church through STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES (Clapperton & Worsley Streets), Barrie.
