MacDONALD, Yvonne Eileen. Glenelg, Guys. Co., NS: MacDonald: (LeBlanc) Yvonne Eileen, 80, Glenelg Guys, Co. NS passed away peacefully with her family by her side July 7, 2004. Born September 30, 1923 in Kensington PEI, she was the eldest daughter of the late Pomphile Oscar Joseph and Eunice Evelyn (Shea) LeBlanc. Yvonne was a member of Branch 56 Royal Canadian Legion and was very active in all community activities. She is survived by her sister Mary Gladys (wife of the late John Marks), Sommerville Mass.; her husband of 56 years LT. Col. WG (Bill) MacDonald (Ret'd.), six children son Barrie, children Warren and James, son Paul (Kathy) children Ann, John and Linda, son Alan (Anne) children Thomas and Ian, daughter Mary Lou MacDonald children Troy, Crystal and Shelby Berthiaume, son Mark (Kathy) children Madison and Ryan all residing in Ottawa, Ontario; and daughter Nancy (Brent) Kennedy, children Cody, Connor and Tanner, Glenelg. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday July 9, 2004 in the Glenelg Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday July 10, 2004 from Glenelg Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jen MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Sherbrooke. In lieu of flowers donations to the memorial fund of the Glenelg Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
