Mr. William Maxwell Boutilier December 14, 1940 - October 30, 2008 - BOUTILIER, William Maxwell Bill passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, October 30, 2008, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Dartmouth on December 19, 1940, he was the youngest son of the late John and Gladys (Lovett) Boutilier. Bill was employed by Fairey Aviation for several years followed by 35 years employment with Air Canada. He enjoyed volunteering at the Shearwater Aviation Museum and was a member of Woodlawn United Church. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Ruth (Annett); his daughter, Janet Ruth (Michael Wagner) and son, Brian William; beloved Papa of Joshua and Jack; dear brother of George (Elizabeth), Cecil (Doreen) and special brother and friend of James Florian; brother-in-law of Robert Annett (Alice). Bill is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Karen, Connie, Patti, Ted, John, Jimmy, Deb, Michelle, Valerie. He will also be missed by his devoted cat, "Chloe". Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth on Monday, November 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held, followed by reception, Tuesday, November 4 at 11 a.m. Woodlawn United Church, 54 Woodlawn Rd., Dartmouth.
