Marian Berggren - Schuetz October 10, 1918 - November 21, 2008 - Our dear mother left us to be with the angels on November 21, 2008. She was predeceased by her first husband John B. Schuetz in 1958, her second husband Wallace Berggren in 1992, her parents Hazel and Sidney Cowles, her six brothers Lynn, Darrell, Orrin, Leighton, Roger and Sidney Cowles, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gunnar and Florence Berggren, Hans and Ranghild Hamborg. Marian will be lovingly remembered by her seven children Jack (Sharon) Schuetz and their 4 children and 10 grandchildren, Lavern (Roman) Becker and their 2 children and 4 grandchildren, Annette (Ed) Danczak and their 2 sons and 3 grandchildren, Delbert (Carol) Schuetz and their 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren, Jim (Janice) Schuetz and their son and 1 grandchild, Roy (Bev) Schuetz and their 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren, Kathy (Walter) Matieyshen and their 2 sons and 1 grandchild; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ragnar and Daisy Berggren; her sisters-in-law Ann Cowles, Delores Clark, Gerry and Marguerite Cowles; her brother Neil (Brenda) Cowles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a dear friend Myrna Burgess. Mom’s greatest gift was her good health enabling her to have many family get-togethers. We had many of these at our farm in Mayview and later, on the Cookson farm. Mom moved to Prince Albert in 1988 to care for her mother and second husband Wallace where we had many family gatherings, which she loved. She loved to knit and made many slippers and mittens for her children and grandchildren. She found great comfort when she joined the Salvation Army and enjoyed many church services and bake sales and all the activities she was able to attend. A public visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, at River Park Memorial Chapel – 301 River Street West. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26 at River Park Memorial Chapel. Lt. Colonel Robert Chapman will officiate. Interment will take place at the Deer Ridge Cemetery. Anyone wishing to send memorials may do so to the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Family and friends may send email condolences to www.riverparkfuneral.ca. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 764-2727 Kimberley Stevenson
