MOHER, Francis Joseph Frank B.A., B.Ed. - At Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, November 24, 2008, in his 46th year, with his loving wife Debbie (nee: Clarke) by his side. His lifelong love of and dedication to children was most evident in his unbounded love for his sons Joe, Erik and Mitchell. He was the precious son of John and Marie Moher of Douro and dear brother of Ray, Karen (Gordon Walker) and Lorraine. He will also be missed by his extended family Dianne Martin, Sharon and Bryan Tomlinson, Sandy Joslin, Wayne and Sue Clarke, Mike and Deb Clarke, Cheryl and Dennis Hartwick, Jackie and Darrell Dakin, Denise and Jamie Maddison, Darrell and Linda Clarke and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Theresa Clarke (Nov. 24, 1992) and brother-in-law Garry Joslin. Born in Douro on February 21, 1963, Frank had a deep and lifelong love of family, children and sports. A graduate of St. Peter's High School, he went on to complete his Journalism Degree from Canadore College, North Bay, receive a Bachelor of Arts (History) degree from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Windsor. Although a teacher by training, one of his greatest joys was his interaction with students through his custodial position at St. Anne's Catholic School, Peterborough. Frank enjoyed many sports, but particularly hockey and baseball. He could often be found with Joe, Erik or Mitchell at arenas and ballparks throughout Peterborough, other parts of Ontario and the U.S. He was their biggest and loudest fan, mentor and life-guide. To his sons and to us, he leaves this advice: IT IS NOT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF GOALS BUT RATHER HOW HARD YOU WORK IN THE CORNERS. Friends and neighbours may visit at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, November 27, 2008. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Douro on Friday, November 28th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service of Christian burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro. Online condolences may be made at www.mem.com. . . . till we meet again, Love Deb. 11334307
