BERNIER, Fredrica Louise (nee Percival) - In loving memory of Freddy Bernier, who peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Maison Vale Inco Hospice in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Paul (Doc) Bernier since 1949. Daughter of the late William and Alice Percival of Sudbury. Loving mother of Kathryn Haynes (Robert) of Guelph, Phillip Bernier (Stacy) of Sudbury, Alexis Bernier of Toronto, Celeste Bernier (John Gerstl) of Markham. Dear sister of John Percival, Mary Percival, Natalie Kenyon, Billye Butler, all pre-deceased, and Madelyn Smith of Toronto. Grandmother of Paul Haynes and Thomas Haynes (Andrea) and Step- grandmother of Stefan and Christine Methot and James and Connor McNeil. Freddy, a lifelong resident of Sudbury, loved her summers at Lohi lake and winters in Venice and Bonita Springs, Florida. Well known for her flowers and craft work, especially her beautiful beading. She loved the company of her friends and was an avid curler and card player, particularly bridge, and made many new friends in her travels with Doc throughout Europe, the Caribbean Islands and the United States. Her community service included volunteer work at the General Hospital, the Catholic Church, P.T.A., Palliative Care and she was a dedicated member of the I.O.D.E., Elizabeth Barrett Browning Chapter, since 1942. Freddy will be fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Resting at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Friday, November 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maison Vale INCO Hospice or Warm Hearts (Palliative Care) would be appreciated. Donations or messages of condolence available online at www.lougheed.org 11309954
