POOLTON, Allan Frederick Allan Frederick Poolton - WW II Veteran, Past Master Masonic Lodge, Life Member RCL Branch #85 Kapuskasing, Life Member of the Air Cadet League of Ontario, and Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, - peacefully at Parry Sound, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 two days prior to his 85th birthday. Beloved husband for 60 years of Grace Poolton (Anderson). Dear father of Edward and his wife Sandra of Elmira; Frances and her husband David Ringler of St. Catharines; Ruth Anne and her husband Tom Linck of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Paul Poolton and his wife Lisa; Jeff Poolton; Melissa Ringler; Warren Ringler and his wife Catherine; and Stuart Ringler. Dearly loved by his great-grandchildren Charlotte and Aaron Poolton. Dear brother of Jack Poolton and Isabel McDonald. Predeceased by siblings Thomas, Ivy, Victor (Dick) and Kenneth. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting in the LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 81 James Street, Parry Sound where family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 20 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, May 21 between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. Service at Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
