Ross, Clarence E. In loving memory of Clarence E. Ross, 68 years of age, who passed away Monday evening, June 21, 2004 at Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Clarence E. Ross was born in Wahnapitae. He married Anne M. Turgeon in Coniston in 1959. He worked as a truck driver for Hutton Transport, retiring in 1999. He was a member of All Saints Anglican Church in Coniston. A devoted husband, father and proud grandfather, Clarence enjoyed a good game of darts and most of all he loved the great outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Anglers and Hunters Club and belonged to the Teamsters Union. Clarence leaves a rich legacy of love and devotion and will be greatly missed and never forgotten by those who loved him. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Turgeon) Ross of Coniston. Loving father of Debbie (husband Doug Peer) and Darlene (husband Mike Ackerland) both of Wahnapitae. Proud grandfather of Jason (friend Claire), Jamie (friend Jessica), Amber (friend Jason), Amanda (friend Justin) and Shaun. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Alice (nee Bush) Ross, by his brother Harry (wife Bea of Sudbury) and by his sister Alice Beaudry. Will be sadly missed by his hunting buddies and his friends at Blue Grass Park, River Valley. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Friday, June 25, 2004 at 11:30 am. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to NEO Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday and after 10:30 am Friday) -
