McCAULEY, "Lena" Emilina (nee Smith) In loving memory of "Lena" Emilina McCauley (nee Smith), 76 years, who passed away Monday July 12, 2004, at St. Joseph's Health Centre after a brief illness. Born in the Highlands of Scotland and raised in the city of Glosgow where she met and married Garnet McCauley a Canadian soldier (predeceased May 1977). They returned to Canada ultimately settling in Whitefish where together they raised five children: Alex (Pirkko), Bill (Doris), Ron (Brenda), Darlene (Chummy Oakey), Don (Veronica). Beloved Grannie to Karen (Allen Aho), Carrie (Darryl Gauthier), Kelly, Alistair Wright, Greg (predeceased 1992), Jesse, Amanda and Robbie. Cherished "G.G." to Elizabeth, Alison, Emily and Alexander. Predeceased by her parents Alexander & Elizabeth (Boag) Smith, brothers Alex and Dan (Mary). Survived by sister Margaret, brother Robert (Pam) and fondly remembered by brother-in-law Jimmie Johnstone & Lena's extended family in Scotland. At Lena's request there will be no visitation or service. Private interment at the Whitefish Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. "When I am gone, release me, let me go..........I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we had so many years."
