PIGOTT, Neil Desmond Who lived here He must have been a gardener that cared a lot Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop And we are so amazed we're crippled and we're dazed A gardener like that one no one can replace. In his 37th year, died suddenly at his home in Sarnia on the morning of Monday, July 12, 2004. Deeply loved and missed by his parents Desmond & Mary Pigott, Sarnia, brothers & sisters; Susan (Ken Gilbert), London, Malcolm (Pat), Lucan, Katherine (Stephen Delong), Kitchener, Mark (Rose Vasti), Sarnia & London, Evelyn (James Washington), Kingsville. Much loved by his friend Kimberly (Sue) Carnahan and her children Nicholas & Sasha. Neil also leaves behind nieces & nephews Connor, Brianna, Daniel, Miranda, Tyber, Liam and Nigel. Also survived by many relatives in England, Ireland and New Zealand. Neil's creativity found expression in his love of plants, trees and flowers bringing enchantment to our lives through the many gardens that flourished under his inspiration and stewardship. He was a graduate of the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture and owned Pigott's Professional Pruning. His love of horticulture also filled his after work time. Neil was a long time member of the Sarnia-Lambton Horticultural Society and of the Master Gardeners of Sarnia-Lambton. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, July 14 at The McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Sacred Heart Church officiated by Fr. Len Desjardins. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
