Robert (Bob) Caron 1945-2004 The family announces with great sorrow his death at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on Tuesday June 1, 2004 at the age of 58 years. Dearest husband of Irene (nee Lacroix) of Maple, Ontario and loving father of Robert Jr. (wife Laura) of Sudbury, Gaetan (Lei-Anne) of Timmins and Roch (friend Mia VanBemmel) of Toronto. Grandfather of Ryan, Lianna, Lindsay, Cameron and Ashton. Dear brother of Yvon (wife Mona), Denis (wife Carmen), Jean-Guy (wife Thérèse), Claude (wife Lorraine), Thérèse Emond (husband Paul), Hélène Lacroix (husband Marcel), Suzanne Labelle (husband Michel), Monique Lamothe (husband Norman) all of Timmins and Carmen Vines (husband Miles) of Kirkland Lake. Also survived by his sister in-law Angeline Caron (late husband Gilles Caron), as well as his brother in-law Paul Rondeau (late wife Yollande Rondeau) of Timmins. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Lucia Caron (nee Piché) and survived by his father Domina Caron (wife Yvonne) of Timmins. Bob was born on July 16, 1945 in Mont-Laurier, Québec. He moved to Timmins at the young age of 4 in 1949 where he resided up until 7 years ago when he and his wife Irene moved to Maple, Ontario. Bob worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a member of Cursillo, the Knights of Columbus and AA. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004 from St-Dominique Church. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 4, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
