William "Willie" Doiron 1917 - 2004 William "Willie" Doiron passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2004 at the Villa Providence in his 86th year. Born in Petit Cap 1917, he was the son of the late Anna Bourque and Edmond Doiron. A plumber by trade, Willie retired from Inglis Toronto in 1982. A veteran of the Second World War, Willie served with the Canadian Army. Willie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Germaine (Ouellette) Doiron of Shediac; his daughter, Jeannine Alicandri; granddaughter, Elaina, both of Toronto. Also surviving are two sisters, Estelle Fougere and Therese Turcotte, both of Matane, P.Q., Willie was predeceased by a sister, Marguarite Mareau and a brother, Azarias. The family will receive visitors at Fair Haven Funeral Home 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, on Thursday, June 10 from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 2pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception for Willies friends and family will follow in the Garden View Family Reception Room. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
