Regina, SK- MORIN, PATRICK JOSEPH CLIFFORD, JULY 02, 1930 JUNE 14, 2004_It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of Cliff Morin of Regina Beach, SK, on June 14, 2004 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 49 years, Norma (Desermeau); his son Shaun (Barb) and children Brittany and Levi of Yorkton; Brent and children Luke and Cale of Aurora, Ill.; Jeffrey (Sandra) and daughter Morgan of Regina; Keri-Lynn (Norm) Jakubowski and children Megan and Chelsea of Regina. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters Maureen Morin and Gladys Walker of Ottawa; sister Diane (Bryan) McEachen of Whitby; brother Bob (Sheila) Morin of Ottawa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cliff dedicated 35 years of service to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. A tenure of 21 years was served as a proud member of the R.C.M.P. Musical Ride, upon which the last 6 years he held the position of Officer in Charge. He was transferred to Depot Division Regina in 1973 after having completed the Centennial Tour of the Musical Ride. He was promoted to Superintendent while serving as Officer in Charge of Regina Subdivision and retired in 1983. Cliff's retirement included working for the provincial government in the Protocol Office and subsequently for the Office of the Rentalsman. He also gave generously of his time and volunteer labour as President of the Regina Beach Lions Club and as President of the Regina Beach Men's Golf Club. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2004 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. The Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2004 in the R.C.M.P. Chapel, Regina, SK with Rev. Barry Anwender, Celebrant. Interment to follow in the R.C.M.P. Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff of Unit 4B of the Pasqua Hospital for the outstanding care provided. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 1A6.
