Willie Bourque COCAGNE, NB - Willie Bourque, 78, of Route 535, Cocagne, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, June 14, 2004. Born July 17, 1925 in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Philias and Adéle (Donelle) Bourque. He attended St. Pierre-de-Cocagne Church and Club D'Age D'Or, Cocagne and was retired from the Eric Goguen Sawmill. He enjoyed working in his garden. He is survived by his wife, Laudia Bourque (Bastarache); two daughters, Claudette William (Gary), Moncton, Ginette Bourque (Daniel), Cocagne; four sons, Jean-Guy Bourque (Barbara), Dieppe, Arséne Bourque, Cocagne, Fernand, St-Marcel, Daniel at home; one stepbrother, Alonzo Surette, Kamloops, BC; four sisters, Nelda Surette, (late Arias), Cocagne, Yvonne Fryatt, (late Johnny), Cocagne, Marie Doiron, (late Albert), Cap-Pélé, Edwina Bourque, (Edgar), St-Jean; one half-sister, Loretta Després, (Stephane), Cocagne; one stepsister, Helene Surette, Kamloops, BC; grandchildren, Chantal, Stephanie, Rebecca; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Edouard Surette; one daughter, Adela; two sons, Ulysse, Valmond; two half-sisters, Cora, Amélia; one brother, Valerie; four stepbrothers, Dolore, Calice, Emery, Arias; one half-brother, Aristide. Resting at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Slumber Room. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, 9:30 am till funeral. Funeral service at St-Pierre-deCocagne Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 17 at 11 am. Interment in St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
