AuCOIN, Joseph John - 73, LaPrairie, died June 20, 2004, at home. Born in Cheticamp, he was a son of the late Paddée A. John and Rose (Bourgeois) AuCoin. He was a member of St. Peter's Church, Cheticamp. He worked in the Gypsum Mine in Dingwall. He was also a school bus driver for 36 years. Surviving are his wife, Marie Lorette LeBlanc; sons, Joey (Madeleine) AuCoin and Wayne AuCoin, Cheticamp; brother, Arsene Neil (Viola) AuCoin, Halifax; sisters, Marie Victoire (Joe) Mombourquette, New Waterford and Clothilde (Henry) Bourgeois, Petit Etang. The body has been donated to science. A memorial mass will be offered on Monday, June 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Cheticamp, Father Sylvain Guilbault officiating. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are under the direction of Cheticamp Funeral Services Ltd.
