LUSSIER _Rene J. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. Rene was born on June 17, 1917 and he passed away peacefully on June 27, 2004. Rene was born born near Mariapolis, MB and he moved to Nut Mountain SK when he was 14 years old. Later moved to Weekes, SK and finally settled in Saskatoon in 1959. He worked as a custodian for the public school board for many years. He remembered with great fondness the 12 years he worked at City Park Collegiate prior to his retirement. Rene was a super dad who spent time with his children. Rene and Barb took their family on many travels across the country, many weekends were spent camping, fishing, canoeing or just relaxing at the acreage at Pike Lake. He faithfully attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church since 1959. Barb and Rene celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a Carribean Cruise in February 2004 with two of their daughters and one granddaughter.
